Kathgar The Wise
The sage of the Empire
Kathgar was born in the coldlands in the province of Scarfell. He quickly rose to become a councillor of Woolpit, before moving to Rivenhall.
The Emperor’s father Hylan swiftly recognised the intelligence of the young Kathgar and hired him to run the Imperial library.
Kathgars life was dedicated to obtaining knowledge and he wrote most of the tomes found around the Empire.
Emperor Tiber 4th
Emperor of the known world
Tiber son of Hylan, was born into a world of peace. His father kept the warring nations apart and mediated a lasting truce.
Times have since changed and the young emperor, having taken over the throne in Rivenhall on his fathers death, struggles to keep the Empire together.
Wizard Morierty
The Banished Wizard
Morierty was a powerful teacher of the magical arts at the wizarding school at Wyken.
He was cast out in unknown circumstances not long after becoming warden of the tower, being banished from the magic city he made his way to Newport the port of the empire, and set up his own wizarding school, complete with his own tower.
Waylan
The Keeper Of The Books
Waylan has been in the library vaults as long as they have existed, he is old, and wise.
He tends the books in the Newport library, an endless array brought to the port by travellers from around the world. He helps adventurers and gives guidance on most matters.
He is utterly loyal to the people, regardless of allegiance, and everything he does is in their best interest.
Princess Azulica
Keeper of the white tower
Gemine Azulica, born in to the royal family of Wyken.
She rules the magic city in the absence of her mother Queen Elaine, who has been missing in the far east for many years now.
She keeps the magic schools white tower and protects the world with spells which cover each town in the empire.
She is loyal to Emperor Tiber and aids him in keeping the populace of the empire safe.
