The Imperial Garrison – Newport

General Grafton and his company of infantry garrison the hill fort in Newports plains district.

The troop guard the all important sea port, and its outlying areas, located in the centre of Newport Island to allow swift deployment to any corner of the island in the event of an invasion.

Last called into action during the rebel incursion into the south woods, where the company incurred heavy losses in the battle, Grafton has relied on local support to bolster his command and to help provision the soldiers, whilst he awaits reinforcement from Rivenhall.
