The Rampant Horse – Althiem

The tavern is perched precariously between the Althiem Mines, and the slimy slope into the poor lowtown quarter.

Due to the amount of poor and sick coming up from the lowtown to drink their last coin away, wealthy merchants shun the place and only go there is a deal of “dubious legality” is to be made.

As a result the tavern is a hive of assassins and thieves, a gateway between the rich and poor,  the poor folk who have no other opportunities other than trying to gain a contract from the wealthy ambitious traders… or to relieve them of their gold for straying too close to the slums.
