House Raglan, are the ruling house of the empire. Emperor Tiber 4th struggles to retain the precarious hold over the throne after his fathers death.
Challenged in open war by Helion in the east, and by political manoeuvring by rulers such as Baron Harkon, his position and that of house Raglan is not an enviable one.

House Karak-Zar unified all the dwarfs under one banner after the humans arrived, they live in peace as one nation, bar the fiercely independent Lord of Varn who refuses his loyalty to anyone but the people of his fiery city.
